Ben Whistler is the name behind the exceptional quality furniture specified by some of the world’s most respected interior designers. Founded in 1999 by brothers Ben and Sebastian de Groot, the company specialises in upholstery and cabinetry for commercial and luxury residential settings.
As Ben Whistler has grown, so have its capabilities. From a one-off piece for a high-end home to hundreds of pieces for hotels and restaurants, quality, detail and craftsmanship are retained, no matter the scale of the operation.

A FULL CUSTOM SERVICE
For bespoke projects, the design department is able to produce concept sketches up to fully detailed drawings and 3D CAD. For furniture with a faster lead-time – yet retaining the flexibility of many custom options – Ben Whistler’s Chapel Street brand is popular for projects that don’t require a fully bespoke service.

Over the last five years, manufacturing has expanded and now incorporates wholly owned factories in Slovakia and Portugal, which are run by experienced Ben Whistler people who understand what is needed to produce high-quality furniture. The London factory has also grown, so it can continue to provide immediate service to clients.
