At Ben Whistler, we hand-make contemporary and classic furniture for hotels, corporations and private homes. We work closely with designers to create furniture that helps their vision come alive. We can customise one of our standard pieces of furniture to fit with a designer’s plan – to different dimensions, seating comfort, wood-stains or specialist finishes - or we can create a unique, one-off piece. Our furniture can add subtle sophistication to a room, or it can create drama, make a statement and spark conversation. But what makes it really special is that everything is hand-made in London.
We are known for our beautiful range of the finest European leathers. We have more than 1000 types, colours and finishes from the very classic pure finish aniline and semi-aniline leathers to the more adventurous and exotic eel-skins (Sargasso), vellums, shagreens, metallic, embossed and engraved leathers. We pride ourselves on the quality of our hides and the speed of our service and the excellent value for money.

We were delighted to receive two Best Stand awards this year: one from the BIDA judges, and one that was voted for by all the other exhibitors at the show.
The stand, designed by Gytha Nuttall, was styled after a north African Felucca, and used a wide range of materials to demonstrate the range of furniture design and manufacture that the company can provide.
The first set of Ben Whistler leather samples is now available to Interior Designers and trade customers. The set includes the new range of metallic leathers, as well as a selection of printed leathers. The leathers are mounted on information cards that give full details of the leather and its suitability. Ben Whistler is a corporate member of the British Interior Design Association (BIDA). This Association is focussed on the advancement of the professional practice of Interior Design, and is a natural partner for Ben Whistler in seeking to improve the quality of products in the Interior Design community.
